    University of Bologna

    Responsibilities included:

    • Developing a pipeline to enrich the EPTIC corpus by automating transcription, sentence alignment, video alignment, and metadata extraction.
    • Evaluating and fine-tuning ASR models for verbatim transcription, focusing on linguistic features like disfluencies and pauses.
  2. Research Intern

    University of Bologna

    Responsibilities included:

    • Extracting textual data from subtitles and combining it with the Medical Dramas Dataset developed by the Department of Arts of the University of Bologna.
    • Fine-tuning MMBT (Multimodal Bitransformer), which resulted in a 7.6% higher F1 score commpared to the text-only models.
